    Hello all,
I have just experienced this problem with my iPhone, I can slide to unlock it, but once unlocked, the bottom row of the screen doesn't work (Phone, Mail, Safari, and iPod.) So my question is that is there a way to change the screen's sensitivity through a Jailbreak, I have heard it being possible, but I just want to know what I have to do to get the sensitivity adjustment app. The iPhone is on 2.2.1 firmware and is in no way Jailbroken or unlocked. I am in no way new to Jailbreaking so if thats what it takes I am willing to do it.
    Please help me out

Take it to a apple store, if they can't fix it they'll give you a new one

Unless you're under AppleCare, you'll have to pay.

....Assuming you've had the phone for over a year?

My phone is no longer under AppleCare, so that is not an option at the moment.
Can someone please chime in that knows about the screen sensitivity thing?
I was reading that somewhere on another board a while ago but I can't seem to find it now.

ive never seen anything on sensitivity.. ive seen something that changes where your touch corresponds to... i learned what it does the hard way... i had to touch the very very bottom of the screen to move the slider back at the top lmao but never anything on sensitivity.. although i think there is probably something out there

This is a commonish problem. Your out of luck if you dont have Apple care. You can try and get your digitzer and screen replaced (there glued together) or get a new one from Apple for $200. Ebay might have some good deals too. Check out rapidrepair.com and ifixit.com for parts etc.
