I consider to buy an iPhone 16 GB 3G, and wander if it is possible to jailbreak it so that I can send and receive MMS into it? Or is it not possible to jailbreak the 3G version at all?

You can jailbreak the 3G but it can't be unlocked.

Ok, but what does it mean? If I jailbreak it, does'nt that mean that it is unlocked..? And can I use MMS with it, if I jailbreak it?

Unlocked means you would be using a different carrier. Like someone in the US using T-Mobile instead of ATT would have to unlock. If you use ATT then no worries, just jailbreak and then install an app that will allow MMS.

Yes, of course I knew that, I was just a little slow.. ;-) Sorry!
I have also looked a little at the new iPod Touch 32GB 2G, but that one can't be jailbroken yet, is'nt that so?

You can use swirlymms. Its great! been using it for awhile now. You have to jailbreak to get it. It will even work if you have AT&T. Your paying for mms with AT&T but you cant use it without swirlymms.

You can also unlock the phone with a universal-sim. I have been using one for 3 months now. Unlocked AT&T phone on T-Mobile US. everything works perfectly.
