That would probably scratch
aluminum foil works, but.... it wears too fast.
Where to get conductive foam?
Go to a shop where the service radio and TV - a place where they have integrated circuits (IC´s). Since integrated circuits are cheep, buy one and you get the protection conductive foam FREE!
And for as much as you need they'll probably have a little scrap you can have for free (?)
And maybe an old broken antenna LOL!!!

No one around here (Michigan USA) ever heard of conductive foam....found online for $7 for a 12" square...more than I need or want to spend....
