what is the equivalent of ipconfig on mac and linux terminals?
also, will it work on term-vt100?
In term-vt100 if you type in ifconfig it will show your IP. I think this is what you are talking about.
Yea, I can confirm that. Please Register or Log in to view images
Thanks, didn't know that myself. Please Register or Log in to view images

what about things like default gateway, subnet mask, etc...
Try doing ipconfig/all. That shows everything unless your IP and Default gateway are the same. Then you type your routers IP in your browser to get the settings, and can find your default gateway and DNS servers through there.
this works with Windows but not terminal.
that only works on windows..which sucks because it would be awesome to have all of that infor portably about any network you are on (if you have the right permissions...)
doesnt work in term-vt100 - is this a linux terminal emulator?
Separate names with a comma.
