I have alot of .ipa files on my ipod touch (not saying why they're there

) and I was wondering if I could delete these after I installed them. In my iTunes, it says I am using 100MB for Applications and 300MB for other (the ipa files). Do I need to IPA files? I am running extremely low on space on my ipod and I was hoping I could delete the ipa files without removing the application of harming it.

EDIT: w00t 1 byte of binary posts!

You need to have the ips's in order for the apps to sync to it.
