    Hi guys,

Whenever I shut down my iPad properly, I get the spinning progress ball, then the iPad seems to respring and load the lock screen. Give it a couple of seconds after that, and it then shuts off. What's causing this?

Its to do with the jailbreak used. Don't worry, its only as unnerving as the green lines when you boot up. And fyi, i get the respringing thing when i turn it on, not when i turn it off!

It's likely caused by illegal closure of a system daemon, so the Springboard resprings in an effort to re-close that daemon properly, then shuts down again when it's done.

Anyway, if it goes all the way then it's fine.
