I currently have a 2gen iTouch 8g (Jailbroken). I am thinking about getting an iPad. My plan is to sell my iTouch and buy an older iPod (Classic, or Nano), and use the left over money to my iPad. I need some advice.

    - Is it worth the money of selling my iTouch?
    - Should i sell my iTouch and get an iPad?
    - How much money would i have after i sell my iTouch and buy an older iPod. (my itouch screen is in perfect condition, and the back looks like any used iPod)
    - Could i get more money for my iTouch because it is Jailbroken?
    - And I need some basic info on the iPad.

    Thanks alot!

you wont get enough for the ipod. you will have like $50 left over if you sell it for $150. a nano can be bought for $99 refurbished. the ipad is starting at $500. you will need about $450 or $460.

My iTouch also comes with a case and half of the original box and a screen protector, i was thinking about maybe getting $175-200 for everything

Keep the touch and buy the iPad, worth it, i have both, I use the touch for the controller on snes emulator. And to listen to the tunes in my car.

The iPad i use all day for internet, email, games, schedule, and maps

    Just save for one

You can't get more than 150 for a used i touch, the case and stuff don't raise the price unless it's a otter box and then that is only 15 or on top

I just sold my 16GB for $180 on ebay. Only one person bid. I dont think anyone would spend $200 on a 8GB.

It's easy and free to play SNES games on the iPad! Google SNES HD IPAD and follow the first link.... Plus, it uses an iPhone or iTouch for control via Bluetooth or wifi.

no one wants to pay extra for little extras like that, they want their own case etc. It's kind of like when you're looking to buy a car you're not going to pay more because the guy has some bumper stickers he really likes.

You should keep your touch and get the ipad, if you sell it you're going to want it back anyways. As far as jailbreak just unjailbreak it pretty simple, you would want to return it to factory settings anyways if you're selling it.
