This is the unofficial iPad Mini discussion thread. Here, we will discuss predictions, concepts and whether or not you will be buying the mystical, rumored iPad Mini. If it is released and within a reasonable price range, I may cash in on it (Or just get it for Christmas).

Still think their going to do a a5 ipod and then go to the ipad mini. The ipod with dual core will last a while until its become standard.

I'm buying quite a few things, but the normal (larger) iPad will be the most helpful to me. And the iPad will get significantly thinner next release due to the Lightning connector.

iPad mini has no obvious advantage compared with iPad, so I won't spent any money

I think they will cease sales of the iPad 2 in place of the Mini. It's the only way I see fit.

    iPod Touch 4" $299
    iPad 7" $399
    iPad 10" $499

And I believe the iPad 7" will have a retina display, contrary to what people believe.

Smaller size means it's more portable. That's an advantage to some. Oh, and the cheaper price as well.

You've got the iPod touch with an A5. An iPod classic with an A5 would be pointless, as the current hardware is just enough to do what the iPod classic can do - playing music. You don't need a dual core to do that.
I don't think we'll see any update to the iPod classic anymore. Apple has done everything it can with that thing apart from giving it more storage, which they could do as often as they want.

But what about Apple's price umbrella? I believe _JKK_ posted this earlier.
