What was the last thing you installed before this happened?

You may need to DFU and restore in iTunes. Did it happen after you installed something? Do you have SSH installed?

No SSH. I believe I jailbroke it the second I got it and can't remember what I downloaded.

Hard reset? I'd that where you just hold home button and off button for ages?

I'd love to solve this without having to reset the whole thing!

Anyone have any ideas? Really appreciate it.

I recommend to save your shsh blob for every jailbreakable firmware versions for your ipad and restore your device. Remember, restoring your device will erase everything from your device, so you better do a backup, if it's possible in your scenario.
Maybe you should restore/ update to 3.2.1, which is the last jailbreakable verion.

I think I did save my blobs through Cydia right?

    Is 3.2.1 jailbreakable through jailbreakme.com?

My iPod sometimes does this, you can try and fix it by fixing an incompatibility.

If you can be bothered, list the apps you have installed through cydia.
