So, what would you buy? Would you get an iPod Touch because you don't need a phone and only want entertainment? Or would you get an iPad for it's great size and amazing apps? Or would you get the iPhone 4 for it's Retina display, FaceTime, and other good features?

The iPhone 3GS is 100 dollars cheaper than the iPod Touch 3G.
The iPhone 4 16GB and the iPod Touch 3G 8GB are the same price at 199$.
The iPad Wi-Fi is 300 dollars more expensive than the iPhone .

(Of course the iPhone 4 has an AT&T plan, which pretty much is over 2000$ after two years)

I was asking this because I wanted to get an iPad, but I think it is overpriced.

But if you want to buy an iPad, wait for the 2nd or 3th generation.

Wait for the 4G touch and if it has a retina display then get it, quick...

    iphone - no doubt.
music and phone in one device sells me on that one, just the simple fact that i love how music works/is organized on iDevices sells me on the fact that it would be great to have both phone and music in one.
I cant ever see myself using my blackberry as a phone and for music other than occasional pandora just because the battery dies so quickly.

ipod touch broke, so im getting an ipad now, but if iphone came out for verizon i can see myself using both the ipad and the iphone

In this order with the iPad 3G being your best bet to buy and the iPhone 2G to be your worst buy.

iPad 3G, it is just so pro and great
    iPhone 4, a great phone
    iPhone 3GS, another great phone
iPad WiFi, fantastic but, not as great as the iPad 3G
iPod Touch 4th Gen, is going to be crazily legit
iPod Touch 2nd Gen, is the best iPod as it is Jailbreakable easily
iPod Touch 3rd Gen, same as the iPod 2nd Gen but, isn't easily jailbreakable
iPod Touch 1st Gen, better than the iPhone 2G because the iPhone 2G is ugly
iPhone 2G, is this even usable on any cell phone provider anymore?

Iphone 4! I have played on my friends ipad, but honestly, it is not as fast as any of the other devices or as fast as it should be. Loading sites on it are incredibly slow. Even if you were to buy it for apps, there are not many made for it compared to the iphone. The good games are still 3x the price of the iphone games and are not any better. If you can afford an Iphone 4 with contract it would be the best bang for the buck. Or if you care about calling people, wait until january just to see what the Verizon Iphone deal looks like then.
