Ipad HD Videos?

    Can you watch HD videos on the ipad? like 720p ones you download from itunes? I mean in terms of hardware the a4 cpu is more than capable of handling it as its processing power is amazing.

    Indeed the ones you download of iTunes (720p)will work. If you plan to manually encode your vids, make sure the video bitrate is 2560 Kbps (or below) and the audio bitrate is 160 kbps (or below)

    I use Super Video Converter (for PC), Handbrake also works nice. No need to encode iTunes vids

    If the demand is great, I can port my tutorials from my site to iPadIMO

    Sweet, thanks for the input guys. So 720p is okay, has anyone tried to output 720p videos on an HDTV? Are the iPhone 3g/3gs component cables compatible with the iPad?
