Am I the only one that thinks the iPad should have a different unlock screen than the "slide to unlock" which is on the iPhone/iPod touch?

I mean, looking at the ipad unlock screen, its the EXACT same as iphone/ipod touch (it was made for these devices, its the perfect size for the screen), the iPad screen is BIGGER, it seems all apple did was use the EXACT SAME unlock silder for the ipad

Im not saying that ipad slider should use up the entire screen, (seems ridiculous but it would atleast indicate apple taking the ipad screen size into account) but perhaps should have the option of even being able to justify the "slide to unlock" to one side so it can perhaps be done while gripping both ends of the ipad and using one of your thumbs - this would make sense to me as I hold my ipad like this in landscape mode 90% of the time I am using it so being able to unlock it without having to adjust my grip on the device would be more practical for me personally

I think you're missing the point there...

The entire iPad interface is a modified iPhone/iPod Touch interface down to the tooth... Because Apple would like to make it abundantly clear that the iPad is a giant version of the iPhone/iPod Touch. It's good marketing!

...on a more serious note, I think 4.2 should have a major UI revise, or I'd have to hand it to Android.

Completely agree with you there... but from the keynote, it doesn't seem like that is going to be happening (at least with 4.2)

what about a highly detailed Face print scanner?
you just put your face on the iPad, and a blinding red light flashes around underneath your face, and then you get let in if your print is successful lol

Why? I mean you want it more complicated? Like what do you want? a photo passcode?

you have to recallibrate your facial print recognition system by going into Settings > Unlock Options > Facial Print Recognition> Re-enter/Recalibrate Facial Print..

then you put your face on, it scans, then that is your new facial print
