Do a Google search for iPad clone and you'll probably get a list of Android devices that look kinda like the iPad.

Is there such thing as a true clone that will run the same software?

Yeah, I know, Apple would fight them, but there were a few cheap Mac clones in the late 80's that weren't legal either...

Simple answer is no. You will find copies which will have the same design as the iPad, but none will run iOS or have the same specs.

This is the only reason Apple refuses to let Adobe publish a flash player for iOS. If an Android tablet will run the same software, why bother paying extra for an iPad?

Because android tablet knock-offs dont do the same thing. There is no current tablet OS that works as well as iOS

That doesn't make sense wouldn't you get the android because iPad can't use flash not get the android because iPad can use flash?
