I tried to restore my iPad to 3.2.0 from 3.2.1 and the it got stuck at the end of the restoring logo for a few hours. So I turned it off and turned it back on and it was stuck in recovery mode. Then I tried to use recbook to kick it out of recovery mode but this made my iPad go into a cycle. It turns on goes to the recovery mode, and then reboots and keeps doing it. the recovery mode time is so short itunes only recognizes it for a few seconds. I have tried restore multiple times with DFU mode but when I try to restore with that it goes to a white screen then reboots and the restore fails. Any Suggestions?

Recboot don't support your device. It made things worse.

    Try a different computer.

I already have and I am sure it does other people have used it. The error code after I try to restore is 21 by the way. I think this had something to do with wifi sync pc app which I uninstalled and it still did not work.

I had added the hosts file before I restored. So that will not help.

Im pretty sure you need your SHSH's otherwise changing the hosts file will do nothing

Then it should work. As long as cydia has your SHSHs backed up and you edited the hosts file, you can restore to any firmware that Cydia has your blobs for.

No I have successfully fixed the recovery boot loop by rebooting my computer after uninstalling wifi sync. Now I am in recovery mode and whenever I try to restore I get 3194 error. I now relize that this error means that apple stopped signing 3.2.1.

Oh well if you have your shsh saved, download tinyumbrella, plug your ipad in and run tinyumbrella, start tss server , restore to the firmware that it says your shshs are for. It will work i did it this morning
