iPhone 4 apps will run on the iPad because the apps made for the iPhone 4 have a higher resolution so they can be used on the bigger screen on the iPad. Since the iPhone 4 has a high resolution it can run iPad apps. You can put HD apps for the iPad on the iPhone 4. This means that there will be more HD apps being developed and the people with older devices will probably not be able to use the new HD apps.

Really? Can you find that? I am interested, but they aren't the same resolution so a game would look screwed up.

They won't fit perfectly. iPhone 4 apps will look better on the iPad than the current iPhone apps. But I don't think iPad apps will work as well on the iPhone 4. Mainly because the iPad's screen is so big that there will be much more content on the screen. So if it will be used on an iPhone, then everything will be a lot smaller, making it possibly unusable.

Assuming they work I don't see why it wouldn't be a good think.

More apps = better device right?

    EDIT:
I just read those articles and I don't see in either where iPad apps will work on iPhone. Only iPhone on iPad. And we already have that, it's just now they'll look better no the iPad.

    Unless I'm missing something?
