Not iPhone apps on iPad, iPad apps on iPhone.. is this possible?
Yes, but there are obvious problems with layouts and often times, applications will not properly function. Take for example Tap Tap Radiation, which some crafty iPod touch users managed to get onto an iPod.
So each individual app would have to be ported? Theres no way simply to download the app?
No, there's not. Without some modification, most to all iPad apps will function incorrectly on iPods and iPhones.
So how did he port Tap Tap Radiation? I know it will function incorrectly but I'm just really curious as to how he did that.
There was no port. He downloaded the Tap Tap Radiation .app file and then installed it with a third party app. I've done the same thing. When it's installed, it shows up on the springboard and you can open it, but nothing functions inside.
I wonder if someone could create a mod that scaled down iPad apps to iPhone size...
So like a reverse FullForce? That'd be pretty cool, actually.
Yes, please. That's be amazing!
You'd still have a problem cause it's like running cod on a 1999 computer
