    Kindle text is definitely clearer, but I'd rather take the iPad. The difference is too small to really make a difference.

    yeah, but it's a comparison of the screen, not what it can do in terms of applications etc. and the kindle is obviously the winner in the eBook department.

    Dang, the Kindle text looks amazing up close. I had no idea it was that similar to actual print/ink.

    Wow... It's amazing how much clearer the Kindle is compared to the iPad!

    As I'm not made of money, I'd rather an iPad.

    However I would like to, one day, get used to the e ink screens.

    i like both devices, ipad suits me better though, if i was someone who actually read for leisure i would definately get a kindle
