Quad-core processor, 8MP camera on the back, 3MP on the front with at least HD video, 1GB RAM, available 128GB storage space, some sort of memory card reader, Siri, new design and something new, as jon4lakers said.
Finally a list that can actually happen. Most lists are features that won't happen. Except memory reader, Apple doesn't do that. 8MP camera w/flash, 2-3MP front, 1GB RAM, 128GB, A6 CPU, new software advances. Not asking for much.
Edge to edge - No. I think people want it just because thats they want change. Nobody ever thinks bout it though, how are you supposed to grip a touch screen device that's edge to edge? No home button - Possible yet un-likely Capacitive touch - I hate how sensitive it is when just holding the device. Annoying, IMO. But on the edge of your device? You would be touching it non-stop. SD/Micro SD - Apple doesn't do that kind of stuff. If you need it, buy the attachment. Highly unlikely. Thinner - possible, but we would need an advance in technology this year. Battery - Not 24 hours. Unless you want to hold a block. 4G - Unlikely, there would need to be true 4G out now since this year is when they test it for next year. RAM - Apple never overkilled RAM before, don't see it happening now. Although, 2GB is more likely. OS - Prob not. I think they would rather release a different device. Much more efficient to run mobile OS on a thin tablet like the iPad.
This is a "what features you want" thread, not "what features will happen" thread. If that were the case then all these things wouldn't happen, apple would just do minor upgrades to the current design like they did for the new iPad. Stop being so critical, use your imagination
They are awesome. I mean , like every other apple event (including 4s) , people will complain they didn't change enough, that no one will get it and then it will sell tens of millions. But with the iPad , they are literally dominating the tablet field so why would they want/need to change anything? Idiot fanboys don't think.
These things don't get designed in a week or two. They'll probably work on it until August or September and start manufacturing immediately after so they have enough units to sell in March 2013.
