Apple is releasing a camera connector and SD card reader for the iPad. Who will be buying this? Is this apples fix for no built camera?

It's to hook a digital camera and import the photos from it, not to give the iPad camera functionality.

Ahh, ok. It's a camera connector, not a camera attachment.

But that means it would allow the iPad to mount a FAT drive. Through jailbreak someone might update it to work as storage, like a portable hard drive or by using the SD card adapter to mount high capacity cards. Buy the 16GB Model and add another 16GB SD card for $40 instead of $100.

SD Card speeds don't get anywhere near the speeds of a SSD drive...

I see a jailbroken mod to live connect a camera.

Which would do what? Obviously you would put your apps on the SSD so they would play right, but what if there was a way to put like the video's that dont need amazing speed on the SD card and play it off that? would that work?

cause between the movies you want to put on there iWork and all the apps and books on your iPad there wont be a lot of space left on your iPad
