    1. Do you have a backup for those files?

    2. If not, do you remember what you changed?

3.Do you have a 5.0.1 IPSW and do you know how to decrypt it?

4.Do you have SHSH blobs saved? As well as APT Tickets or whatever they are called?
4a. If not, WHY DIDN'T YOU SAVE THEM, WE WARNED YOU?

Lol Sorry about the SHSH blobs thing because i have one but I never restored or JB'd it.

Backup the changed files and then restore the backup to the files that you changed one by one until you figure out what's wrong.

    1. Try a hard reset, it won't hurt

Install iPhoneBrowser or iPhoneExplorer, they should work

    1. Reboot your iPad

    2. Wait for roughly 2-3 minutes and then connect to computer

    3. Load up the program and then move the edited files away and restore the backup'd files.

The iPad should be booted up enough to allow root access. I have done this before with my iPod, and it should work with the iPad.

I would use this as a last resort if you want your jailbreak, but you could DFU restore to 5.1 and then try and get back to 5.0.1 with your blobs.
