iPad 2 and iPad Mini Both Have Dual-Core A5 Processor, But Only One Gets Siri

    It has nothing to do with A5...it's the technology of the microphones they put inside the new devices.

    I thought we've been over this multiple times... Apple isn't going to give an older device one of the major selling points of one of their newer devices. Apple wants you to buy from their newest line.

    siri ports kinda debunked that. My friend had a siriport on his iphone 4 and it worked fine for me. Its ALL about marketing

    This is why I, and millions of others, hate Apple. Everything they do is for their shareholders and never for their customers. Pretty soon there will be a new *hot* feature and Apple won't allow it on the iPhone 5 or iPad 4. It has nothing to do with the compatibility of the new feature with an old device. No, all Apple cares about is selling the next device and leaving their old customers in the dust.

    New customers: You are golden right now because Apple is selling to you!
    Old customers: You used to be a new customer.

    Not for a lot of people who use it everyday for many reasons. Though, I can't really see myself using it other then to mess around with it.
