I am getting very slow WIFI speeds on my Ipad, I tried other
places like Starbucks also, and it's still bad. The most I can
ever get connected to a N router is 1.50Mps down, and maybe
2.00Mps up. I am using Speedtest.net to get these scores. I
wanted to know what everyone else is getting when they try
this?, I just to see if I am the only one having this issue.

    Thanks.

Dude slow?? I get 380kbps real speed and that's fast enough for everything. If your getting much faster speeds connected to the same network at the same distance try restoring? it's s last minute option. Otherwise I doping know. google it to see if others are having the same problem.

It just doesn't make sense for it to be this slow though.
My Ipod touch 2nd gen connected to G WIFI, get's like
10Mps download speed and like 5Mps upload. The Ipad is
connecting to N WIFI and it doesn't even push 2Mps
download, so WTF? Plus when I try to play preview
videos in the Itunes store, it stops and buffers
all the damn time. I think that is because the
WIFI connection is so slow. It does not do
the same thing on my Ipod touch.

BTW, I have cable net pushing 20Mps download speeds.
So I would not expect my WIFI Ipad connected to N WIFI
to be slower then my Ipod touch, connected to G WIFI...

All I can think of is reset network settings, if that fails, restore, if that fails send it back,

Did all at, so I am asking for a replacement now.
Should not be this slow on N WIFI, what is the
point of it even having N WIFI.

check your routers setting and see if it throttles your speed for some reason or has other traffic prioritized, or google your router model with ipad and see what pops up

    Faster internet.

If you get a replacement you'll be on 3.2.1. SO no jailbreak as of yet.

Can't be, because my Ipod touch 2nd gen is on the same
router, and it's pushing 10Mps download.

I know it's for faster net, which is why I am lost that my
Ipad connected to N WIFI is only getting 2Mps. My Ipod touch
    is pushing 10Mps download.

Why doesn't everyone download Speedtest app, and post their
scores. I would really love to see what everyone else is
    getting with their Ipad's..

Some things to consider: does your router support 802.11n specifications? Does it have enough antenna power to transmit? Is the location set right in SpeedTest? Is the iPad on firmware 3.2 or 3.2.1 already? Most people here probably have access to slower network caps so you'll only likely hear reports below the 3Mbps range.

All the above is fine. As I said, my Ipod touch connected to G
get's around 10Mps. I have 3.2.1 on the Ipad, and have done
everything under the sun and moon, before asking for a
replacement. Let's just say my Ipad was only connecting
to G, like my Ipod touch, it still should be getting
the same 10Mps, and sadly it's no where near it.
I have gotten speeds as low as 0.55Mps download.
