    in my mobile applications folder on my computer, all the apps i downloaded have duplicates ranging from 2 duplicates to even 10. I'm guessing its because of app updates. Is it safe to delete the unused duplicates? Because it eats up space on my computer.

    Do Not Do This. I did this and I lost all of my updates and will have to reimport them and find the location. VERY BAD IDEA!!!

    Wow, thanks for letting me know, I would of made a big mistake lol. But what about files that are no longer in my library? Like I deleted AIM and the duplicate files are still there, is it ok to delete those?

    Only delete the files if you don't want the app anymore or keep the AIM.ipa original file for the first version you bought.

    Why can't he just delete them all then via his ipod install them again therefore having the most updated IPAs' and only one per app.

    Yes, you're able to delete all the apps with the lowest numbers.
    But keep the highest number to keep the app.

    Such as you have;

    Trism
    Trism 2
    Trism 3

    You'd delete Trism & Trism 2 but keep Trism 3.
