I was wondering if somehow I could use an IP Address to access a subdomain. I have a free byethost account, through which i made my website, but, on using any kind of CMD command to find the IP Address of my free website, it takes me to mybookface. Yeah, byethost's advertisements. I looked around the web but didn't find anything helpful. Any ideas?

With free web hosting they put lots of accounts on the same server (usally in the thousands). Since each server can only have one IP address none of the hosting accounts get a unique IP.

Mz8691 that didn't work for me. The IP/sub works, but the sub.ip doesn't. But never mind. It's okay.
