It seems that in iOS4, apple stopped using the Default_CARRIER_IPOD and the FSO counterpart. Winterboard doesn't theme it, and the respective default image files no longer exist in CoreServices/SpringBoard.app.

I've been looking to see if they simply moved it in some of the other folders, such as PrivateFrameworks, but no luck so far.

    Anybody have any ideas?

They may have made it text rather than an image.

Both use the same OS, just a bit modified. So probably.
