iOS4: What you need to know

    You should tell everybody to make sure they Backup and Transfer Purchases in iTunes in case something happens during the update and they need to restore.

    It works, just not all of it. And if your willing to mess around with a few things it can all work. Lol

    You shouldn't get an update because you're on the GM which is essentially the final firmware... But I'm sure Apple will release new 'bug fixes' in the firmware they release on their site but who honestly knows...

    all you have to do is backup your device and click restore and itunes will download the official download and install it

    The GM is not the final.

    It is just iOS 4.0 beta 5.

    Anybody worried about getting the update: yes, you will get an update notice.

    I was on 3.1.3 and Had Spirit jailbreak all I did was just update lol I didnt get bricked it just took cydia away why restore and lose everything
