Hey I have features for ipod 2g and it works excellently but i was wondering is there a way to get rid of multitasking but keep the music player that comes with it?? The music player is awesome!!! but i don't like multitasking as it drains my battery super quick. Appreciate all help. Thankyou.

    Try this:

    - Disable multitasking.
    - Download SBsettings toggle for Rotation Lock (It exists and works for 3.x and 4.x)
    - Using Activator, go to Anywhere > Home Button Double Press and assign it the iPod popup.

Not as fancy as the multitask drawer's style, but it's got all the same functionality. :/

No prob. If I knew of a way to do this I would tell you, but without editting some plist somewhere so the controls show up first (and maybe using Backgrounder to disable backgrounding for all apps), I don't know. :/

Rykah has a good idea - You can enable multitasking, download Backgrounder and just choose the 'Off' option and any app will quit completely but you can still double tap to get the multitasking bar.

^^ This is what I do

Go into backgrounder > Global and scroll down to "Fall back on Native" and turn that off. With the settings like that, you still have the multitasking bar at the bottom, but you can choose what you want to be backgrounded. So it's like a front for multitasking!

    Edit: This is the guide

The one thing that would bug me is having to swipe left just to get your controls. That would piss me off. :\

I don't mind it when I have backgrounding enabled, but if I were to have it off, my OCD would kill me.
