When I'm on the treadmill, I like to watch movies on my iTouch. It's 3rd gen, 64GB, and about 8 months old. Everything was fine, and then I upgraded to iOS 4. Now, it goes 5 to 10 seconds, then freezes the video, with the audio still playing.

I've turned off everything I can think of. I shut down the other apps (multitasking), turned on airplane mode, turned off pushes, and nothing has made a difference. I even tried rebooting, still no good.

Any advice? It's ripped @ 480x272 MP4, which played just fine on the last OS version. I really don't want to have to re rip all my movies, and I'm not even sure if that's the problem.

iPod Touches shouldn't have an Airplane Mode...

Wow, I didn't know that. One more reason for me to stay on firmware 3.1.3 jailbroken with Spirit.

Found a fix: Re-ripped all my movies, which had been using H.264 codec, as MPEG-4 Codec. Now, no more freezing
