What's the deal with this? I haven't been able to try it out because I'm not jailbroken (duh). I have the legal right to use it as a Verizon customer, but I see yet again in iOS 7 I'm being blocked from using it by default.

EDIT: answered my own question. This is what that is:

Oooh! One thing I forgot to mention that really excited me: the camera app!

Has anyone else seen how fast it takes pictures now? It's instant, and I've noticed considerably less distortion taking pictures of screens (computer, TV, etc.) due to refresh rate. The camera seems to be completely overhauled.

Indeed it is. I was showing a few of my friends how fast it was last night and they were quite surprised. It's only a software change! The pictures aren't necessarily "better" (it's the same camera after all), but I feel like I have an easier time taking a steady shot because it takes the picture so fast. I'll be interested to see what 3rd party apps can do to take advantage of this.

iOS 7 + better camera on the 5S = iPhone photography just got taken to another level. Not to get too excited, but this might be the most underrated improvement to iOS 7 in my opinion. They didn't even mention the camera app other than the filters, I don't think.

It always has been unless you pay for it, even on Verizon where it's legal to do so without paying extra. Do you mean it's disabled completely?

Wifi tethering was always free for me on my Vodafone contract. Now it is completely disabled. It's even quoted in the "Known Issues" list at the Developers site, although the exact wording is: "Personal Hotspot (Internet Tethering) will not work if this seed of the iOS SDK 7.0 is installed."

Interesting. I wonder why it's disabled? I wonder if it's intentional or an oversight.
