iOS 7: Improvments for Passbook (Concept)

    Hey guys,

    I was bored today and decided to mess around in Photoshop. I was originally aiming to create an iOS 7 icon, but went a little too far (It took a very long time to do this). I came up with some really cool ideas for features that would make it into iOS 7 as I was designing it, and thought, "why not?" Here's what I came up for Passbook. Leave a comment telling me if you like it, hate it, or if I should continue with this series.

    looks impressive but the descriptions of each feature need to be more apple-like. definitely has some application outside of just rewards programs for shops if implemented

    Yeah, I know what you mean. I rushed that part because I already spent over 2 hours on the rest of the stuff, so I thought I could get by with those. Oh well.

    I don't like the idea of social stuff in passbook because it's meant to be a wallet and that just doesn't go. Business cards could work out very well if done right. I say continue just because i like seeing concepts.

    I see. Yeah, social things don't really belong in a wallet, but I thought it be cool if Passbook went into our devices, took the info from our Twitter and Facebook accounts, made a card (with QR Code included), synced it up with iCloud, and made it really easy to make friends by just scanning each others cards.

    Ha, yeah, sorry about that. I wasn't aiming to start rumors or anything. Call it iOS6.1 or iOS7, it doesn't make a difference to me. I think we're all past iOS6 anyways. It's a little bland in my opinion. And about the new name, well, I made a new icon, if that means anything.

    Heres an idea: why not ask for the features now and not wait til ios7 when some devices cant have it

    But good design none the less
