I don't think more people using iOS6 suddenly makes sticking with 5 for a jailbreak hard to justify. It doesn't really offer any compelling reasons to upgrade from what I know. Even if devs start updating and require it than simply don't update. I wouldn't consider a possible minor performance update for some apps to be worth losing my jailbreak and all the things that affords me.

Did they put me downgrading into the stats?

The only reason iOS 6 is being adopted faster than any other version is because the OTA updates.

The OTA update is to blame. I HATE iOS 6

I'm actually surprised its not higher. You're pretty much forced to update if you restore and you get notifications telling you to upgrade. Not that that's a bad thing...I love iOS 6.

I wonder if half of the people that are in iOS 6 are probably hating it by now (except maybe for iPod touch 5, iPhone 5, and iPad 3 users). And we also have to consider new iPods, iPhones, and iPads are preinstalled with iOS 6 now (even the iPod touch 4, iPad 3, iPhone 4S, etc.).

Why not just select no/dismiss it when you are asked to update? Was it a forced update?

It's not forced on you, but most people would update anyway because generally, people think updates are good. Most don't even research on what the update has to offer (even though some of it is shown on OTA update descriptions) and if people like it or not.
