iOS 4.0 iOS 4 optimizes photos...

    I was just syncing my apps back to my iPod.. the Jailbroken 4.0 and i would occasionally check if its done or not... and i just looked there.. and it was optimizing photos...

    this is probably not the correct place to put this.. but this still does relate to iOS 4

    Screenie attached...


    Anyone else notice this?

    They've all done that, the iPod or iPhone does it the first time an image is synced to it

    I wouldn't go as far as pointless, there are probably other people who didn't know about it but yeah its a false alarm.

    but.. this didnt start from 4.0 it happened before?

    It was in 3.1.3. It's a feature of iTunes 9.2 and not iOS4.

    it did this to me as well, ipod touch 1g 3.1.2 JB

    Nope it's not new in iTunes 9.2 it hs done this ever since I can remember, atleast since 2.0 if not, since the release of the first iPod touch
