When i enabled multitasking on my iPod touch 2G, and I bring up the bar, then close it the little window closing animation looks very ugly

Might be a bug using multitasking on a 2G iPod. Since it isn't native, there's probably a few little issues like that. Or it could just be a software bug and a restore could fix it, but I wouldn't go that far.

not a bug... enable wallpapers first. when you have multitasking, it is expected you also have wallpapers, thats why the animation works with ipod touch 3g and iphone 3gs and 4. the animation is not a bug...

That sounds more correct than me :3 but if I recall right, enabling wallpaper makes it laggy? I have no experience with 4.0 on an older device (yet).

wallpapers are not laggy if you remove the icon shadows. goto /system/coreservices/springboard.app and remove wallpapericonshadow.png. that will get rid of the icon shadows, rendering the wallpapers much less laggy. the animations are still a bit jutty though...

The link up their only requires you to change the n72ap.plist file the link is in the description just ssh into yur device and replace it

Use that method to get Multitasking and multitasking works perfectly on the ios4 ipod touch 2g the method you used probable didnt go well.

One moment, what makes the iPod lagg is Multitasking not Wallpapers. I have Wallpapers running and my iPod runs smoothely all the time.
