I installed the GM release on my iPod Touch 2G yesterday but it's still pretty much the same as beta 4...
There's still no homescreen wallpaper and there's no default wallpapers to choose at all.
Also there's a plane mode that it's useless for an iPod Touch and I think should be removed.

Yeah but it should at least have some default ones to choose for the lock screen...
Also the screenshot function isn't working anymore for me...

Its actually just a rumour that ip2tg isnt getting wallpapers, it was never confirmed by apple. But I personally think ipt2g is going to get wallpapers because on the GM when I go to wallpaper the whole screen is just white, so i think thats a sign

Its confirmed that its not going to happen:

    http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/ios4-software-update.html

Not all features are compatible with all devices. For example, multitasking, custom wallpaper, and Bluetooth keyboard support are available only with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and the third-generation iPod touch (32GB and 64GB models from late 2009).

I should probably get an iPhone 4 when i visit USA but i still dont know if its worth spending $599 while i can get an n900 for $459

I think Airplane mode is a legal quesion or something like that to just turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

About background... it looks that they forgot to take off that menu.
I wont get image background. (Probably with JB)

I think airplane mode is actually very useful. It is easier than going into settings and having to fool around to turn off wifi and bluetooth, if you are using both.
