Hi all - I'm new! I'm having issues with my new and very first iPhone. Stalls everytime during syncing at "Step 2 of 3" First of all I have to stress, due to the region I work, there is no 3G service within, like 100s of km's. I have not installed any phone SIM into the device so far. I also stress that I am new to all this iPhone/iTunes/Jailbreak/Cydia stuff. Brief History: Purchased iPhone4 (v4.3.3). Phone remained unopen in its box until arrived at work location. Unpacked the goodies and sync'd ok with iTunes. Have DVD collection of apps. games etc.(purchased in Thailand). Visited my friend (more knowledgable in things Apple) he hooked up my iPhone to his wifi and successfully Jailbreaked, Cydia etc. Back at office i managed to install 1 app - working. Proceeded to install my music from iTunes. All going great, tried to install more apps from DVD. Then issue occurs. iTunes/iPhone syncing stalls. Gets to step 2 of 3 and just stalls forever (well at least an hour so far). I can cancel syncing by pushing the slider on iPhone screen, and phone seems to operate ok. Should I try to do some sort of "restore" procedure? If so, how do I go about it?
Are those apps legally purchased through iTunes? If not, we can't discuss them here, as we don't allow piracy here in the forums.
