I updated from 3.1.2 to 4.1, and now it has some problems.

Apps lock up and sometimes crash.
When I get a new app, it says "can't connect" then when I click OK, it connects.
When I delete an app, it no longer has me rate it, like it used to.
When I write a review, it says "rate this product" (I already did, when I submitted the review), and under that it says "_null" where the stars would be. So i just hit "OK". But then the review never shows up on the review page. I know it takes a few hours, from doing it before. But now I check days later ... so they aren't being submitted.

It never did any of this before. It's all stuff I can live with. But I just wondered if anyone has had this happen, or has any suggestions?

    It's a 3G device, and not jailbroken.

    Thanks

If I restore, would it go back to 3.1.2 (what it came with), or just restore some settings, and keep the 4.1?

If you restore it would restore to 4.1 and wipe your device out completely. Make a backup if you want.

Thanks bkribbs ... I wondered if that was the case or not, but wasn't sure.

Sure. Sorry I can't be of more help. But the only thing I can say is to try a restore.

I restored it, and so far so good.

But now, I just downloaded an app that I had before, and it charged me again. The message didn't come up, saying I could download it for free, like it always does when I get one I've had before. Plus, it subtracted it off of my available credit. I thought it would know I bought it once already.
