How to enable wallpapers and multitasking on iOS 4.1

DONT INSTALL THIS FOR A JAILBREAK

ONLY USE THIS FOR GAMECENTER, WALLPAPERS AND MULTITASKING

I REPEAT DONT INSTALL THIS FOR A JAILBREAK

    Know Problems
    1. Wifi password needs to be re entered
    2. Slide to shutdown not turning device off ( hold home and power for a temp fix)
    You will need these.
    1. iOS 4.0 ( YOU NEED BOTH FIRMWARES)
    2. iOS 4.1
    3. Redsn0w 0.9.5b5-3

Warning the cydia icon is not showing up at the moment sources are also not installing.

    Steps
    1. Backup ipod touch with itunes.
    2. Restore it to iOS 4.1 --- NOT 4.0.1
    3. Restore you backup.
    4. Open Redsn0w 0.9.5b5-3
    5. Select the iOS 4.0 firmware.
    6. Customise the settings.
    7. Click next.
    8. Follow the prompts.
    9. WARNING DONT INSTALL FOR A JAILBREAK IT IS NOT WORKING I TRIED IT.

why do you need that image of gamecenter? It has nothing to do with the guide. Please remove it, it only causes slowness of internet and server.

Yep. This would only work on iPod Touch 2G MB and iPhone 3G.

I have a iPod Touch 2G non-MC. And my iPod won't shutdown or use any apps like Appstore.

To everyone saying there are problems with wifi there are not if your wireless is locked just renter your password for it that's what I had to do
(p.s.) I'll try make a YouTube video for those of you who cannot turn off your iPod how to get it ack to iOS 4.0 or you could just hold home and power buttons till it turns off

    Sorry about the problems :l

On the 3G, the phone app disappears (so the only way to make calls is through the messages app, or the contacts app, and it kills your EDGE/3G & wifi

4.1 doesn't have an official jailbreak, it f*cks up WiFi and mine doesn't even have a password, the phone app disappears, and there's a crapload of other probems. there ARE problems with it, so don't say there aren't.And resetting your iPod makes no sense if you only want to turn it off.

    Should have never jailbroke.
