iOS 4.1 iOS 4.1 & Battery

    is it my ipod or does the battery drain faster with ios 4.1

    make sure that when not in use you either enable airplane mode (easier) or disable wifi, bluetooth, location services ...adn it helps if your brightness is not up all the way

    i put my brightness on auto. i kinda notice that the battery goes down faster in 2.1 than 4.0

    Turning off auto-brightness will save battery life.

    I recommend setting it at 1/3 of the brightness.
    Some people have it at 1/2, too.

    It's that farkakte wireless that doesn't shut off when you're in sleep mode. I accidently flashed back to 3.1.1 the other night and I love not having to worry about the wireless/battery issue so much, I'm going to stick with it. This issue should've been fixed in 4.1.

    back to 3.1.3. will wait for a bug and issue free 4.1 jb
