i bought an invisibleshield and it is great..
i saw some posts about pros and cons needed for the invisible shield so yea..

    pros:
    does not scratch.. at all
    almost industructable
covers everything if you get the full body kit
appears as if there is nothing on the ipod at all so if you are a crazed ipod fanatic and want to protect your ipod more, you can add another case

on the touchscreen, it has a slippery feeling and it is great

    cons:
to me... costly.. so buy it online...
if you put it on crooked.. its VERY hard to put on straight.. and if you try to redo it. it may stretch and be too big.

    about covering the home button,
if you put it on correctly, it is perfect, i do not have any air bubbles and it is very nice

This is by far the best protection for the itouch out there. i bough this myself and i have found it very useful, you hardly even know it is there.

Its protection is second to none!

Putting it on without getting air bubbles is a nightmare. I eventually threw it out, the screen is pretty much scratch proof anyway.

If you use the spray that comes with it, its really easy, and that card that comes with it lets you slip out all the air bubbles.

The only fault i can find with mine, is that i have 2 airbubles on the back of my pod, which i aint fused about.

My screen is perfect thou, i forget anything is on it half the time.

Don't use too much of the solution and it's easy to apply without air bubbles. Use enough to wet the skin but not soak it so much that it drips. Slide the skin around on the touch to get it in place and wait a bit. Start squeegeeing excess solution and air bubbles out.. then wait a bit more until it starts drying into place. Then start folding the side flaps down.
