Hey guys I got an iPod touch 3g and I want to get an invisibleshield for it. Does it use an adhesive or a static cling? How long should I leave it on before changing it? If it is an adhesive will it take off some of the apple and iPod off the back of it? Thanks

Adhesive. For as long as you want. No.

It is kinda of like a water-based glue. You just add a little bit of spray and it sticks like magic.

I've had mine on for a whole year and it's only now starting to peel at the corners.

The Apple logo and the words iPod are engraved on to there, those letter's won't come off even if you tried to sand them off.

Also, if Invisible Shield looks a little bit expensive, take a look at Best Skins Ever, it's pretty much the same product (I've had both) but the Best Skins Ever is $15 cheaper. Just IMO.

Its adhesive, and i recommend leaving it for 24 hours just so that everything sets properly. And i have installed a few of them, and taken them off, and yes *some* of the apple logo and ipod name get taken off. not that bad though. I defienatly recommend the invisibleSHIELD.

Oh and make sure you use this coupon code: PROTECT20

    A: It uses an Adhesive
B: If you put it on correctly, as long as you would like.
C: The Adhesive does take off some of the Apple and iPod off the back, but just a tiny amount, I stress the word TINY. In other words, it does, it's just not noticeable, unless you look at the Invisible Shield after you take it off.

    HOPE THIS HELPS!

it will eventually start to peel at the edges after about a 7-10 months. it will also get a little yellow. you decide when you wanna replace it, but thats whats gonna happen after a while.

static cling back ones suck. they will not go on right and peel off super easily. my friend has one and its horrible. if you want a front static cling and a back adhesive, i think thats what fullbodyfilms is.
