I am thinking of getting the IS screen protector, but am hesitant as I don't want it to diminish the retina display. Can anyone who has one already on it give an opinion on if it does reduce the quality of the display?
    many thanks

Does not diminish a thing.. IF installed perfect. It's not hard to get a perfect install. My 1st install I had rainbow speckles due to the fact I used too much solution. The 2nd time, no problem what so ever. I can hardly tell it's on

were you able to use the same shield from the 1st try, or did you have to get a new one.
    thanks

I had a new one put on. Just make sure you only spray the sticky side of the shield and NOT both the shield and the device. that's what I did and I think I had too much moisture underneath, which left the rainbow speckles.

read the instructions and it will work perfectly

it says NOT to spray your device
I had to read it 2-3 times though to understand it!!!

in my experience theyve always given a slightly wrinkly and blurry finish. Theres just no comparison to the naked screen or a static cling clear protector

I bought my Invisible Shield at Best Buy, and paid the extra $8 for them to install it for me. The girl who did it sprayed the solution directly on my device, then put the screen protector on top of that, then yeah.. I was like

my IS was installed perfectly by me except for one single large dust speck so i peeled it back and it turned out to be a little be past the time to pull is back, as now there is a mark and it's a little bit stretched, but on the clean, non-fuzzed up surfaces (pretty much all of it), it's very clear. you don't see a thing.
