If one has only a hard wired network to attach to using an RJ45 cable connection, how can one connect to the general network. No laptop available either... just have the Ipod Touch.

I'm thinking that one might attach a wireless access point to create a local wifi network that could be used. ASUS has a something they call an asus wl-330ge but it looks like it is more designed to tap into a wifi network than to provide a wifi network....

    Thanks, Lee

you'll need to buy a WAP (wireless access point) or simply use a wireless router as a WAP

just plug an ethernet cable form your switch (or modem, or router) into one of the LAN ports on the wireless router (not the WAN port)

make sure DHCP is turned off on the new wireless router (you'll use the DHCP from existing setup)

    and you're done
