iOS 3.1 internet with my iPod touch via the USB cable

    Is there a way to use my computers internet with my iPod touch via the USB cable.

    Hmm someone was working on a project like this back in the 2.2.1 days... i think it was called "iNetCable"

    Download the .deb from the hosting site, SSH and dpkg it.

    This. Both OSX and Windows have a very easy set up, just click "share this connection" in Network and Sharing Centre (Windows) or Sharing under Settings in OSX
