this happened to me as well and it absolutely drove me crazy. heres what i do and it works everytime this happens now:

    1. turn off your computer
    2. unplug the router and internet box completely
    3. let it sit for about 10 seconds
    4. turn off your iPod Touch
    5. plug back in your internet
    6. turn on the computer and log on
    7. turn your iPod Touch back on.

now go to settings and connect and it should work. im not sure why this happens in the first place but it happens to me too. hope this helps.

Well, there's no way you can fix it, this guy last night had the problem that he had all the bars, he went to a lot of places, and his iPod didn't connect...so the only solution is return it back to apple...

    Just restore it....to 1.1.2
so they wont say u need to update, just have it updated after u restore it...

and they wont tell the difference if it has been JB
