hey guys.. so my internet isn't working unless connected to a router, I found instructions, but basically I have to restore but I can't restore by backup, but I have so many contacts, etc. How do I fix this internet issue while keeping my stuff? I don't care if its jailbroken.

So basically what you're saying is you can't connect to the Internet unless you connect to the Internet? Why do you need to restore?

No, I can only connect to the internet if I'm connected to a router, I have a phone.. so normally I could connect anywhere before this update.

So because you have an iPod Touch, which only connects to the internet with WiFi, presumably from a router, you can't connect to the internet? You can't connect without WiFi, dude.

I'm not sure how to fix your Internet problem, but I do know something that can help you with your contacts. You can get an app called iDriveLite from the AppStore. This application is completely free and is used to back up your contacts. When you get this app, you are going to have to register for an account, which is also free. This takes about 30 seconds. All you need to input is your email address and a passcode for your account. Then hit the back up button. If you do end up restoring, which by the way I don't think is really necessary for your Internet problem, then just redownload this app from the Appstore, input your account details, and it will have all your contacts ready for you to restore. Just hit the restore button.
