In my country wi-fi service is very expensive. I was wondering whether there is a software where the iPod Touch connects with my Palm Treo 680 and access the internet by means of the Treo's modem.

    Thanks.

You would have to tether the Palm Treo to your laptop and then connect your iPod touch to the connection that the laptop puts out. Whether or not you can tether a Palm Treo 680 is something I don't know. Which service provider are you with?

I think pdanet. works with Palm OS That's what your Treo runs on right? You could probably create an ad-hoc on your Treo then connect your IPod to it.

I live in Malta (EU). My service provider is GO within T-Mobile.

What do you mean when you say create an ad-hoc ?

An ad-hoc is a temporary local area network that only works for the duration of your connection. So, you would create an ad-hoc network on your Palm Treo and then connect to it via Wi-Fi on your iPod touch and the connection would only work for the duration of your session.

All great ideas....except the Treo 680 doesn't have WiFi capability.
