I just upgraded to 1.1.3 and got the app pack. Now there is a sub folder in my iTunes directory names "iPod Games." It's empty, but maybe it's an indication that games are on the way!

I think that's a default folder thrown in by iTunes nowadays. The 'iPod Games' are the ones that work on the Classic, 3G Nano, and 5G iPod. I'll verify this in a sec.

*EDIT* Yeah, I just checked on a machine I'm working on with a Fresh iTunes install. It's there.

I really do wish I could play my Pac-Man and Texas Hold'Em I bought for my 5G on my touch though. Just wishful thinking that will never happen.

All I really want are pool and bowling. Maybe mini golf too.

The part of this that's really important is the Mobile Applications folder (~/Library/iTunes/Mobile Applications), which clearly means that the SDK is on its way!

There has been some rumors from those who have purchased the $20 apps that you can web clip games from Safari and save it on the home screen which then can be played without the need of wifi connection. Maybe that's what goes into the ipod games folder? Any thoughts?
