    Hi Alex,

I personally don't use a 3rd party application for IM on the iPod Touch as I find they've all got fairly big kinks that need to be ironed out, be it feature wise, or with reliability.

I do however recommend you use an iPod/iPhone specific web-messenger that handles MSN/AIM/Yahoo/Jabber/GTalk you can navigate to this on your iPod Touch/iPhone using http://iphone.beejive.com

    Hope this helps!

One of the most common 3rd party apps in Apollo (downloadable through Installer), but I tend to use Meebo (www.meebo.com) more, because it allows a landscape orientation.

I would recommend Apollo over any web app, simply for speed and ease of use. You can find it in installer.

Just wanna check with you guys, when Jivetalk or Meebo has been one of the background pages for a while, do you get disconnected from their network?
