Installing SMB

    Yes, I know that they are not fully compatible with 1.1.3, but can anyone give my instructions on how to change the plist, install SMB, and make it partially workingg? (I only want it for the icons)

    The trouble is the million other threads make it hard to find the answer, hence me not locking this thread.

    If anyone can help this member get his SMB working as best you can, please add a link.

    I will then add that to the sticky at the top of the forum.

    you just have to edit your systemversion.plist in system/library/coreservices/(if not here/springboard.app). Open it in wordpad and change 1.1.3 to 1.1.2. then save and set permissions.
