Why does everyone say it's sh*t and stuff..? What's so bad about it? What does it do? Is it better than Cydia? What does Cydia have that Installer doesn't? And I dont want, "Don't get installer it's sh*t."
well, during the new times of 2.0, we were only left with Cydia as a temporary replacement for Installer. it took a couple months for them to port it from 1.1.4 to 2.0 so for that time people got hooked on Cydia. i am one of these people. i used to love Installer, then i was stuck with Cydia in 2.0 and i got used to it and now Installer is just a dusty old unused app on my springboard.
No more jiggy, although saurik said he might do it. Cydia is open source, which automatically makes it awesome ; Installer, RiP dev put very little effort in comparison to Installer 3.0.
